Ours is a simple story. When we first met at work, we argued and never
made attempts to speak. But fast forward a few months, I was inspired
by Freelia’s unwavering faith, like my mum’s, and started attending
the same Mass at church.

Valanton always said what was on his mind and pursued me even after
receiving numerous ‘No’ for an answer. But during Lent, Mama Mary
intervened while we prayed rosaries together.

I knew what I wanted for both of us, so I did the next best thing
possible. I asked Freelia’s mom for her blessings! Her parents, of
course, said yes.

So, on my birthday, Valanton went on his knee and asked me the
question he always wanted to! I said yes!

And now we’re set to proclaim this love that God has blessed us with at
the altar. We hope our faith and love carry us along through our
marriage and help us spread His light to others.
